Orthoptera: Tetrigidae, Pygmy grasshopper, Torsby, Sweden. This well camouflaged adult grasshopper
feeds on algae and other organic material on the surface
of wet soil (which they resemble). They are among the few grasshoppers that survive the winter as adults and thus
can be seen in early spring and summer (photo in June).
